Let’s kick it! is a football session in Liverpool for men and women who suffer from a mental health illness or for anyone who would like to improve their mental wellbeing. Friends, carers and support workers are also welcome. The session is for all abilities, so if you have a good right foot or two left feet you’re more than welcome.
The main focus of the session is to have fun and to have a good workout. During the session we ensure there is no negative scrutiny, shouting or aggression shown towards any participants. Inclusion and teamwork are big values for ‘Let’s Kick It!’ with all participants working together to include each and every player in the game.
The session is split into coach lead warm up, football activities and matches.
